In November, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event resumes with the final table and Kim is the short stack with only 2,620,000 in chips.

There will be little time for the 31 year old American to mess around with the blinds constantly increasing, Kim's is going to make a move and make it fast. Whilst Kim may be with a low stack, write Kim off at your own peril.

Late on day 7, Kim, who hails from Los Angeles, was in bottom position.
Play was tight as all players wanted to make sure to hit the final table.
Kim played tight and carefully nurtured his small stack to patiently outlast four other players to make the final nine.

Kim was careful not to get into action with the bigger chip leaders, and used whatever chips he had to take the blinds when he sensed an opportunity.
His coolness and resolve paid off as the tenth placed finisher, Dean Hamrick was knocked out thus ensuring Kim's spot on the final table and a crack at the $9 million first prize.

Kim has earned a reputation as a terrific small stack stake player and while he's in last position on the final table, he is still there and will be fighting.
After getting onto the final table Kim said: "Obviously I'm in critical condition, but if I double or triple early then it's on."

Kim started playing poker in 1995 at college in 1995. When he finished his studies he got a job as a business analyst.
Later Kim was to take up playing poker as an occupation, dedicating himself to his new found profession.
