Setting up the Calculator to auto-read
1. Once you are seated at a poker table, drag the CDPoker Calculator icon over the poker room window and click the Attach button.
You will now see that each seat is numbered with a box. Click on the appropriate box that indicates where you are sitting.(You must already be seated in the game for CDPoker Calculator to attach.)
After PokerRoomSchool Calculator attaches to your poker room, it will now start auto reading the Texas Hold’em hands dealt within this poker room.
A dashboard will open that shows the cards dealt, the “hand odds” of your own Texas Hold’em hand, as well as a “betting spectrum” to recommend the preferred betting strategy for your hand. In some cases, it may be necessary to move the poker room window and the dashboard window so they are not covering one another. Simply click and drag the windows using your mouse until they are positioned the way you want them. Important Note: if Poker Calculator covers the Texas Hold’em Poker room window, then PokerRoomSchool Calculator cannot auto read the cards dealt within the poker room. It is recommended that you use an 800x600 resolution or higher in order to fit both windows on the screen nicely.
Using the Dashboard that appears above the poker window
The left side of the online poker tool dashboard shows your hole cards (the two cards dealt to you at the beginning of a hand), as well as the flop, turn, and river cards. Next to this is the number of players in the hand, and the number folder. Next to this is your current hand ranking (Pre-Flop) or your current hand (Post-Flop), along with your current chances of winning at the river. The right side of the dashboard has the current betting advice, along with a graphical spectrum representing the advice.
Keep in Mind- The betting advice does not take into account the chances that one or more of your opponents are bluffing. Texas Hold’em, in addition to odds and statistics, is also a game of “reading” other players. While Gamecalc will help master the odds of Texas Holdem, only experience will teach you how to read other players and how to use this knowledge.
